* Assists Director of Collections and Exhibitions with exhibition project management, including scheduling project team meetings, soliciting agenda items, crafting agendas, running meetings,

monitoring budgets, taking minutes, and archiving project team meeting notes.* As assigned, creates project timelines to aid in the tracking of internal and external deadlines, and manages key deadlines.* In coordination with Collections and Information Access Manager, maintains exhibition archives including review and culling of paper files and coordination of digital archive.* As assigned, creates exhibitions model chips, and smaller didactics using Adobe Suite.* Generates publication timelines, and communicates with curatorial regarding all deadlines and budgets.* Distributes publications to staff. In coordination with curators, mails out copies to authors, venues, lenders, and other contributors in accordance with all agreements.* Oversees onsite inventory of publications, and coordinates releases to outside vendors and others.* Applies for ISBN, Library of Congress Control Number (LCCN), permissions, grants, and copyrights as required for all applicable publications.* Provides digital publications to Texas Scholar Works for their digital catalogue.* Maintains publication library and publication historical records in consult with Collections and Information Access Manager.* As assigned, completes small epublication or Blanton Brochures.* Coordinates collections and exhibtions colleagues through completion of group housing and storage projects. Including timelines, location tracking, review of proposed housing materials, and building housings as trained.* As assigned, assists matting and framing preparator with oversized framing and large two person projects.* As assigned, assists with art movement for collection photography, curatorial viewings, and other collection needs.* Other collections related preparator work as needed.* Completes archival filing and digitization as as needed.* Coordinates and arranges for department wide supply orders, process paperwork, and disperses materials.* Makes travel arrangements as needed for exhibition purposes including airfare, hotel, transportation, per-diem, etc.* Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.* Represents the museum with a high level of integrity and professionalism.* Adheres to museum policies supporting management decisions in a positive, professional manner, and works collaboratively with all staff.* Maintains confidentiality within and outside the museum.* B.A. degree required; 4 years experience at museum or related, gallery or publication work.* Experience managing production schedule for publications and/or exhibitions.* Experience working in a museum setting and knowledge of museum operations, policies, and standards. Experience with museum-oriented thesauri.* Ability to use the complete Adobe Suite.* Preparator experience from museum or gallery.* Ability to assess priorities, work well under pressure; manage time efficiently, analyze and solve problems independently and if necessary, collaboratively.* Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with staff members, trustees, lenders, donors, and volunteers.* Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
