Regional Associate Medical Director (Greater St. Louis)

GoHealth Urgent Care has partnered with Mercy, one of the largest and most dynamic health systems in the United States, to operate Mercy’s urgent care centers. We are seeking to add an experienced .5 FTE Admin Time/.5 FTE Clinical Associate Medical Director who will work in tandem with the Medical Director and APL Lead in the market. This role will ensure medical staff are provided with support, feedback, education, training, and scheduling in order to maintain exceptional levels of efficiency, client satisfaction, and patient experience. S/he will be required to implement medical practice procedures and policies that abide by external and internal regulations and standards. Responsibilities

Lead and support medical staff across multiple urgent care centers in the market; provide coaching, feedback, and education to maintain high performance and patient experience. Collaborate with Medical Director and APL Lead to ensure smooth operations, staffing, scheduling, and policy adherence. Develop and mentor high-performing medical teams; apply strong analytical, management, delegation, organizational and administrative skills. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies; communicate effectively with GoHealth staff, health system partners, and physicians. Manage multiple centers, balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities; maintain authority in relationships with physicians and executives. Qualifications

Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds. Minimum of two (2) years of clinical leadership / administrative experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or related field, preferably in a major medical center or health system. Proven track record of building and leading high-performing medical teams; strong analytical, management, delegation, organizational and mentoring skills. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with GoHealth staff, management, and health system partners; strong oral and written communication. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and centers; flexible and coach-oriented leadership style. Ability to bring authority to new and existing relationships among physicians and non-physician executives. Experience with current clinical methods and techniques. Familiarity with Epic EMR and an integrated Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care environment is a plus. Benefits
