Human Resources Generalist
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Onsite
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our client's team in Grand Rapids. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire onboarding.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.
Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Compliance & Recordkeeping: Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate employee records.
Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities for staff.
Performance Management: Assist in performance appraisal processes and support managers in employee development initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
