Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced loan administrator who is passionate about helping others to join our Customer Care Loan Follow Up team. This role is responsible for following loan applications through closing and assisting customers with questions regarding their loan in process. This associate must have the ability to manage a large pipeline of loan applications (average 45-65), which are originated in our Customer Care department (generated over the phone or online). Our loan administrators are not on commission, which allows them to focus on what is best for the customer. We provide a comprehensive training program to set you up for success from the very beginning. This role is a hybrid position – 3 days onsite at our Corporate Campus (7007 Broadway Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44105) and 2 days remote. Initial training period will be fully onsite. Hours of Operation are Monday – Thursday (8:30a – 5:00p), Friday (8:30a – 5:00p/6:00p) and Saturday (8:30a – 1:30p). You can expect to work on a Saturday once or twice a month. When you work a Saturday, you will have a scheduled day off during the week and work until 6:00pm the Friday of that week.
Responsibilities
Manage a pipeline of mortgage and equity loans (average 45-65) application through closing
Communicate by telephone, email, and text messaging with customers throughout the process of a residential mortgage or an equity product
Meet with your direct manager on a monthly basis to discuss performance and development
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year recent experience of mortgage loan processing
High School diploma or equivalent
Comfortable working with customers exclusively via phone and email
Strong ability to understand the customer’s needs and explain financial information
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in a team based setting
PC proficiency and ability to learn new programs/technology quickly

Our anticipated pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 per hour. At Third Federal, we’re committed to transparency throughout the hiring process.
