ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER – $50,000-60,000 – Camden County, NJ Key Responsibilities: This position reports directly to the Senior Property Manager. The key responsibilities of the property manager include, but are not limited to:

Complete regular and special reports and duties as directed by Senior property manager. Regularly inspects units, common areas and exteriors to ensure a high level of maintenance and tenant adherence to lease requirements. Collect rents, accurately batch, and input into property management software. Address late and delinquent rent with written notices, direct communication with tenants, and eviction proceedings. Assist in preparing proper legal filing notices for Senior Manager. Handle all details of move in and move out inspections. Work with inspectors and maintain detailed written records for repairs. Accurately report to Senior Manager the status of vacancies and ready dates. Reports accidents and emergency situations to the Senior Manager. Physical attendance is required, and travel to properties is required. Manage tenant adherence to company policies by addressing lease violations including damages, improper waste disposal, pet policies, and other violations. Oversee unit turns for move-in and move-outs to ensure units are suitable for occupancy. Maintain sites at full occupancy and maintain all units in accordance with local and state regulations, including basic housekeeping. Location is based in primary office, with travel to local properties as needed.

Experience & Requirements

Minimum 1-3 years of prior experience in multifamily housing industry Prior assistant property manager, leasing, and customer service experience helpful Experience with Yardi, Realpage and OneSite. Prior office support/clerical experience needed; ability to keep accurate records Regular in-person attendance, 40hrs weekly Monday through Friday
