Responsibilities as the Accounting Manager:
Lead month, quarter, and year-end close, ensuring accurate reporting and audit compliance. Oversee accounting for inventory, fixed assets, accruals, payroll, cash, and intercompany accounts. Manage and develop a team of senior accountants; set goals, provide guidance, and oversee hiring/training. Maintain internal controls and policies to ensure SOX compliance. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve inventory processes and reporting. Support acquisitions through due diligence, process integration, and accounting setup. Serve as primary liaison with internal and external auditors. Analyze financial data, prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and ad hoc reports. Drive process improvements and cross-department collaboration.
Experience for the Accounting Manager
Bachelor's in Accounting required; CPA/MBA preferred 7+ years of public or corporate accounting experience Prior supervisory experience; ERP system knowledge preferred. Strong Excel skills with ability to manage large datasets. Energetic, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
