Mishawaka, Indiana , providing
tax preparation, planning, bookkeeping, and payroll services

Overview of the Tax Accountant / Tax Manager role:
• Prepare and review
individual, fiduciary, partnership, and corporate income tax returns
for closely held businesses • Recognize and resolve
tax issues
and conduct research to ensure compliance and accuracy • Prepare
tax planning analyses
for individual clients to support long-term financial goals • Review
bookkeeping files and payroll processing
to ensure proper tax reporting and payment requirements • Work directly with clients to
develop and maintain trusted relationships
and deliver excellent service
Preferred Qualifications for the Tax Accountant / Tax Manager role:
•
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance •
4-7 years of experience
in public accounting •
CPA or EA certification required • Strong knowledge of Internal Revenue Code sections and regulations with the ability to research and resolve complex tax issues • Experience with
payroll processing and tax filings • Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Adobe , and tax software ( ProSeries
experience preferred) • Self-motivated, organized, and analytical with excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and remain flexible during peak tax season • Interest and potential to
mentor, train, and lead
others as the firm grows
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 annually , commensurate with experience, plus benefits and flexible hybrid scheduling outside of peak tax season.
