Lafayette, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Field Technician to join our team. This position involves travel up to 70 miles from Lafayette for various job assignments. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction or field testing and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Essential Duties

• Perform field testing and inspection on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Assist in collecting, recording, and analyzing data from field tests.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment, company vehicle, and tools.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members regarding field results and site conditions.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements / Skills

• Prior experience in construction and/or field testing.
• ACI Field Level I Certification is a strong plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must complete a 30‑hour training course provided by the company.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, professional, and safety‑focused work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks on construction sites.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods as required by fieldwork.
