The Opportunity Were looking for a skilled Legal Secretary with a strong litigation background who thrives in a hands?on, collaborative environment. What Youll Do Draft, format, and finalize pleadings, discovery, and correspondence. Manage calendars for multiple attorneys and coordinate hearings, depositions, and meetings. Assist with e?filing and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines. Keep case files sharp, organized, and trial?ready. Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional, approachable manner. Support trial prep includes securing court reporters, witness preps, and booking travel. Pitch in with other administrative tasks that keep the firm running smoothly. What Were Looking For 5+ years experience as a legal secretary (civil litigation required). Background in insurance litigation and/or bad faith strongly preferred. Experience with State and Federal courts required. Appellate experience a plus. Mastery of court procedures, deadlines, and e?filing. Excellent proofreading skills and communication skillswritten and verbal. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines. Tech savvy with Microsoft Office, Adobe, iManage, and Juris (or other timekeeping software).
