Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for performing advanced cardiac and electrophysiology procedures in a high-acuity cardiac catheterization laboratory. The role requires hands-on experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and support of emergency STEMI cases. Key Responsibilities: Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, Impella insertion, Shockwave, CSI, and balloon pump operations. Support electrophysiology (EP) procedures — monitor, pace, and burn as required. Maintain a sterile field and assist with scrub, circulate, and monitor responsibilities. Operate GE Innova IGS and Siemens imaging systems. Respond to on-call STEMI activations within 30 minutes of notification. Float to the EP Lab as needed to support workload demands. Ensure proper use of radiation safety protocols and maintain a personal radiation badge (required). Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab and EP experience. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R) or CCI(RCIS) with SCRQSA license. Proficiency with Siemens and GE equipment. Must live within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response time. Experience in procedures including PCI, Impella, and balloon pump management. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in scrub, circulate, and monitor roles across all case types. Familiarity with cardioversion, tilt table studies, carotid/peripheral vascular procedures, PFA, and Watchman procedures. About HonorVet Technologies
