A law firm seeks a talented attorney to join its expanding Wage & Hour Litigation team in Denver. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced litigator with a strong background in wage and hour law. The firm is looking for an associate or of counsel with 4+ years of experience to handle client-facing work and manage cases from start to finish. Non-partner track candidates are encouraged to apply. Duties:
Represent clients in wage and hour class and collective action claims under state and federal laws, including the Colorado Wage Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Interpret and apply regulations from the Colorado Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division. Draft pleadings, responses to discovery, and motions, including motions to decertify a conditional class. Take and defend depositions in complex wage and hour litigation. Manage a diverse caseload, balancing multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Collaborate with internal teams and advise clients on compliance, risk management, and legal strategies. Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in wage and hour litigation, focusing on class and collective actions. Strong experience interpreting federal and state wage and hour regulations. Proven ability to draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, and motions. Skilled in taking and defending depositions. Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and meet tight deadlines. Admission to the Colorado Bar is required. Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications:
Admission to the Colorado Bar. Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience managing client relationships and providing strategic legal counsel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Benefits:
