Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Lowell, MI
Pay: $18-20/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift - 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to operate CNC and manual machinery used in the production of automotive components. The ideal candidate will have experience working with tight tolerances and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and manual machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) to produce automotive parts to precise specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
Adjust machine settings, tooling, and feeds/speeds to optimize production and minimize waste.
Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and reporting mechanical issues.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality control procedures.
Document production data and maintain accurate records of materials used and parts completed.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality control, and engineering teams to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
1+ years of experience operating CNC or manual machines in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry a plus).
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.
Familiarity with ISO/TS quality standards and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
