We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Accounting to lead our financial operations within the design and development sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in accounting principles, financial management, and team leadership to drive accurate reporting, ensure compliance, and support business growth initiatives.

What You'll Do
Review and audit all D&D financial records; conduct forecasting and reporting year-of-year revenues and expenses.
Establish and implement short-and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
️️ Monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness; implement changes required for improvement. Identify key drivers of success.
Monitor all activities of the department, ensuring all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and controls property wide are enforced.
Create and administer departmental operating budget and financial controls. Responsible for financial planning, forecast, labor, and payroll for areas of responsibility.
Stay informed of new developments within the department and make recommendations designed to maximize department and company success.
Supervise 2 Junior GL (General Ledger) Accountants
Promote positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members, guests, and other third parties.
What We're Looking For
Master’s degree in accounting or in a similar discipline
Minimum of ten (10) years of general accounting experience, preferably ten (10) years of experience in accounting
Experience with large Strip casinos
Strong accounting acumen
Advanced Excel skills, especially with pivot tables
Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and sales/use tax
Experience managing P&L (Profit & Loss) line items and validating financials
CapEx and project-based accounting experience
