Be among the first 25 applicants Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists (DRT, X-ray Technologist) to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Services to be provided include the full range of DRT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including call shifts. Multiple shift schedules with on-call service are available. Additional Information Full-time, Travel, and Per Diem candidates are considered for this position. Responsibilities Performs routine to complex radiographic examinations using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic units, the chest unit, and general diagnostic units. Prepares contrast materials under radiologist supervision for exams requiring injectable solutions, such as IVP, cystogram, cholangiogram, fistulagrams, and arthrography. Performs oral and rectal exams using injectable solutions. Operates fully digital and highly technical digital and computerized radiographic equipment. Troubleshoots and makes minor repairs or adjustments to diagnostic radiologic equipment. Qualifications High School Diploma Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program ARRT(R) certification is required American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting Proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months Prior VA experience is desirable No sponsorship available Pay Range : $52.16 - $107.90 hourly Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during work shifts. Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. Lift up to 20 lbs. Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance. Push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
