In the HDR Transportation Business Group, you will help shape systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably. As Tolling Market Lead, you will partner with local area teams to cultivate and manage client relationships with toll agencies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with local area teams to cultivate and manage client relationships with toll agencies across 36 operating areas.
Lead the identification, pursuit, and delivery of tolling opportunities where HDR can compete and deliver professional services.
Develop and enhance HDR’s suite of toll industry services, including:
AET conversions for existing facilities
Planning and design services for systems including technology, payment methods, and advisory services
Mobility and operational technology services—ATST, ITS, CAV, tolling system development and operations, managed lanes, ZEM, and OT cybersecurity
Advisory services—including asset management, ROW, value engineering, funding, and finance
Support local areas in industry organization participation to grow HDR’s presence in tolling markets, including IBTTA and related bodies.
Provide professional development for staff delivering toll services.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of industry experience with proven development and management of strategic marketing programs.
Experience in managing a wide range of client relationships and program or project pursuits.
Experience in staff development—recruiting, career progression, and professional growth.
Active involvement in industry associations with a visible market profile.
Ability to collaborate with area and business group directors and managers across regions.
Commitment to HDR values and a culture of employee ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
PE licensure preferred.
Recognized leader in the toll roads/toll facilities space.
Proven ability to set strategy and execute growth for a practice, ideally in the tolling market.
Established relationships with major toll clients and DOTs.
