Role Overview:
As a Float Phlebotomist, you will quickly gain a vast amount of experience working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. This unique role will allow you to develop your skills and set you up for opportunities and continuous growth within the organization.

Work Schedule & Float Incentive
Monday‑Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm with 1‑hour lunch
Floats within Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas
Rotating Saturdays (starting 5:00 am to 12:00 pm for travel and work)
Float incentive: $1.00 /hr plus mileage reimbursement
Job Responsibilities
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
Enter patient information accurately and timely
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
Previous phlebotomy experience
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Minimum age 21 years
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation and clean driving record
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test
