We are seeking a visionary and hands‑on Executive Chef to lead the culinary program at Apple Blossom, a chef‑driven, seasonally focused restaurant inside Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver. This is an opportunity to direct a high‑profile kitchen where food, beverage, and hospitality work in harmony to deliver an exceptional dining experience for both travelers and locals.
What You ll Do Lead the culinary vision, menu development, and seasonal programming, celebrating locally sourced ingredients and scratch cooking.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent execution, quality, and presentation across all services.
Manage food cost, labor, and inventory controls, balancing creativity with financial accountability.
Recruit, mentor, and develop culinary talent, cultivating a positive, professional, and collaborative BOH culture.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, upholding Hyatt and local guidelines.
Represent the restaurant at hotel, community, and media events, promoting Apple Blossom s reputation as a chef‑driven destination.
What We re Looking For 2+ years of progressive leadership experience as an Executive Chef or senior Sous Chef in a high‑volume, full‑service restaurant or hotel.
Expertise in seasonally inspired, scratch‑made cuisine with a strong foundation in modern techniques and plating.
Proven success in menu development, team leadership, and operational management.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, costs, and vendor relationships.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
