Under the general direction of the Administrator II (manager) Enterprise Procedures & Training Program, in the Enterprise Talent Development Section, the incumbent leads a team of enterprise procedure writers and training curriculum developers to identify, document and update enterprise materials for the shared services provided by Taxpayer Folder, Case Management, MyFTB, and other enterprise tax systems.
The incumbent is expected to work cooperatively with management and staff in support of software user manual planning and implementation activities. The incumbent promotes an environment and atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation consistent with the department’s values among staff and managers across different divisions within the department.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience supervising and leading high performing teams in a fast paced environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with competing deadlines
Ability to lead and coach through tight timeframes and deadlines
Ability to analyze personal income tax and business entity accounts
Working knowledge and experience using Enterprise Tax Systems (ETS) which include
Experience developing and/or delivering formal classroom style user training
Experience developing engaging and effective training materials and Interactive Computer Based Training modules to support large audiences
Strong collaboration, negotiation, and communication skills
Experience working with multiple stakeholder groups
Experience facilitating engaging and effective meetings with various customers
Experience analyzing and providing customer service for Personal Income Tax (PIT) or Business Entities (BE) accounts
Strong knowledge of Franchise Tax Board's (FTB) organization, operations, and systems
Strong knowledge of departmental policies, principles, practices, and procedures
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Procedures Manual (EPM), the update process, and how local business area procedures interact with EPM
Project management/project lead experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to obtain understanding and gain buy in
Ability to evaluate system and process updates to determine business process impacts
Familiar with applying department writing and accessibility standards
Ability to foster cooperative working relationships
Ability to remain flexible with competing priorities and effectively prioritize competing demands
Proficient with MS Office programs like Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Forms
Familiar with enterprise software like RoboHelp, Adobe Captivate, MS Project, and TFS
Involvement in a diversity of activities, program areas, and/or positions that have provided you with a greater understanding and appreciation for the broader perspective of the department/enterprise
