SAP - Data Migration/MDG - Senior - Consulting

role. This position supports EY’s global consulting practice, focusing on SAP technology solutions that improve client operations and performance.

Location: Anywhere in Country

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute project deliverables, monitor progress, and ensure completion against goals.

Manage chargeability with an emphasis on billable hours to external clients.

Engage in sales activities, support service‑offering identification, and develop RFP responses.

Oversee junior staff, maintain alignment with performance objectives across client service, quality assurance, risk management, and solution development.

Provide strategic guidance for technology transformations, ensuring cost control and quality assurance.

Skills and Attributes For Success

Initiate requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, complete workflow, and documentation, as well as functional design of the solution.

Liaise with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Hands‑on with SAP data tools (e.g., Data Services, Information Steward, MDG, Datasphere) and integration methods (CPI, SLT, APIs).

Provide general guidance to peers and junior staff.

Ensure data quality, compliance, and security standards are embedded in deliverables.

Travel as required by client engagements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

2+ years of professional experience working with one or more SAP modules with full‑cycle implementations inside your core module.

Experience with SAP Data Services, SAP Information Steward, SAP MDG, SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, and/or SAP Migration Cockpit.

Experience in data modeling, data migration, data quality management, and/or proficiency with ETL processes.

Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and integration methods (CPI, SLT, APIs).

Knowledge of data governance practices, master data management concepts, and/or reconciliation/validation processes.

Understanding of industry data compliance and/or security standards.

Willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Data governance and/or integration experience preferred (e.g., SAP MDG or similar frameworks).

SAP Datasphere and/or SAP Data Intelligence preferred.

Strong relationship‑building skills.

Ability to engender client trust.

Effective communication and complex problem‑solving abilities.
