Rebate Analyst, Market Access, Princeton, NJ – Hybrid Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (Sun Pharma) is a leading generic pharmaceutical company. The Rebate Analyst will work closely with Contract Strategy to administer payer agreements accurately in SAP and Vistex, ensuring rebates are accrued, administered, and paid promptly and resolving disputes with customers and internal teams. Additionally, the analyst will manage contract setup, pricing, and rebate validation for Sun Pharma brands across U.S. markets using Sun’s Revenue Management System.

Responsibilities

Process and analyze Market Access (Payer) and Specialty Pharmacy rebates.

Operationalize contracts in Sun’s revenue management systems, including Client Plan formulary assignments.

Maintain products, pricing, performance tiers, eligibility dates, and rebate rates.

Enter customer utilization data to support accurate rebate calculations; ensure data integrity.

Review, process, and validate all claims, administrative fees, and rebates for Commercial, Part D, Specialty Pharmacy, and Payer customers.

Resolve outstanding disputes with internal/external customers in a timely manner.

Provide claim processing reports and metric tracking to management.

Develop SOPs, user guides, and update documentation.

Load contracts into SAP and Vistex, reflecting commercial rebate agreements across channels.

Maintain rebate payment documentation and communicate summaries to leadership and external parties.

Support audit cycles, quarterly reporting, and other high-demand activities.

Qualifications

BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience.

5+ years experience managing processing membership, chargebacks, or rebates.

Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards, SAP, NetSuite, or similar).

Experience processing Managed Care rebates, Medicaid claims, government and commercial chargebacks, or wholesaler fees in a pharmaceutical company.

Knowledge of commercial and government contracts.

Prior pharmaceutical experience required.

Expertise in Contract Management Systems such as Vistex, Model N, CARS, or similar.

Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and Sun assessment passed.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Experience developing data analyses and reporting.

In‑depth knowledge of the Specialty Pharma industry and Sun Pharma products.

Business user experience in implementing a Contract Management System a plus.

Proactive, trend‑recognition with GPOs and payers.

Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $88,000 – $107,500. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus plan. Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, and paid time off.
