Overview
Greystar is looking for a dedicated Leasing Professional to join our team at Prose Kent Apartments. Greystar is the largest rental housing operator and developer in the United States with a global portfolio of over $300 billion of real‑estate assets.
Job Responsibilities
Coordinate community marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals.
Conduct prospect building, apartment tours (virtual and in‑person), and provide excellent customer service throughout the leasing process.
Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, prepare leases, and ensure smooth move‑in and lease signing.
Inspect apartments prior to move‑in and work with maintenance to address any outstanding items.
Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referrals, employer outreach, social media and online advertising.
Track leasing activity and resident data using property management software (Yardi, OneSite, etc.).
Maintain show unit quality, coordinate with maintenance for upkeep, and manage leasing office daily operations.
Follow up with prospects and new residents for satisfaction and lease renewal support.
Qualifications
Previous sales or customer service experience; a positive can‑do attitude is required.
Proficiency with MS Office and property management software (Yardi, OneSite) desired but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain apartment features and answer resident questions.
Professional appearance and manner.
Driver’s license; ability to operate a golf cart on property.
Required Licenses & Certifications
All state and local licenses or certifications as required.
Valid driver’s license; golf cart operation license if applicable.
Physical Demands
Stand, walk, sit for extended periods; lift up to 25 lb independently or 50 lb with assistance.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to handle flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $22.50 – $24.00. Eligible for quarterly or monthly bonus programs based on individual and company performance.
