We’re seeking an Office Project Manager to serve as the day-to‑day hub for project controls, engineering coordination, documentation, and risk management from the owner’s side, while making targeted site visits to verify progress, quality, and safety.

What You’ll Do

Integrate technical, environmental, schedule, and document‑control activities into a cohesive plan.

Drive multidisciplinary coordination (electrical, civil, environmental, permitting) to keep deliverables aligned.

Build and maintain baselines and updates; track milestones, cash flow, and earned value.

Lead RFI/submittal workflows, drawing reviews, comment resolution, and close‑out documentation.

Support change management (scope/contract changes), pay app reviews, and cost forecasting.

Serve as primary point of contact for the Owner with EPCs, OEMs, and third‑party providers.

Prepare clear status reports, risk registers, decision logs, and leadership briefings.

Oversee QA/QC plans, commissioning readiness checklists, and turnover package completeness.

Ensure adherence to codes/standards, permit conditions, and Owner processes; capture lessons learned.

Conduct scheduled site visits to validate schedule, safety, quality, and progress against plan.

Facilitate resolution of field issues by coordinating timely office‑driven decisions.

What You’ll Bring

Experience: 7+ years on utility‑scale renewable projects (solar PV, wind, BESS, substations, T&D), including exposure to civil, structural, mechanical, and/or electrical (DC/MV/HV) scopes.

Technical Familiarity: PV modules/trackers, inverters, MV transformers, substations/MPT/GSU; BESS/SCADA exposure is a plus.

Project Tools: Proficiency with construction document control and PM software (e.g., Procore, Aconex, SharePoint), scheduling (MS Project or Primavera), and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).

Core Skills: Contract/RFI/submittal/change‑order management, schedule and budget control, risk identification/mitigation, strong written and verbal communication.

Credentials: Valid U.S. driver’s license. OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and First Aid/CPR/AED (or willingness to obtain).

Travel/Environment: Ability to conduct periodic site visits across Texas as needed.

Why Atwell OR/CMS
