Structural Stress Analysis Engineer (Associate or Experienced)
Location: Everett, WA. Base pay range: $81,600.00 – $138,000.00 per year.

Structural Stress Analysis Engineer
to work at the Washington Design Center in Everett, WA. The role focuses on airplane structural analysis for metallic and composite structures, ensuring strength throughout operational life and meeting fail‑safety, durability, and damage tolerance requirements.
Position Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design.
Coordinate with other engineering groups to define the product’s environment.
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test results to validate systems and components meet requirements.
Define and document certification and test results to substantiate compliance for customers and regulatory agencies.
Support in‑service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
Work under general direction.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
2+ years of related work experience in structural/stress analysis.
Experience with Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, or Structural Engineering classification.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of related work experience or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above.
ABET‑accredited or equivalent engineering degree.
Experience with Fatigue or Durability Analysis.
Experience in aerospace stress analysis.
