Responsibilities
Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move‑ins, move‑outs, and lease renewals.
Interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and resident satisfaction.
Generate and handle traffic, qualify prospective residents, lease apartments, and prepare lease documentation.
Ensure model apartments are in touring condition and maintain accurate records of traffic activity.
Process renewal paperwork and deliver documentation to current residents on a monthly basis.
Follow up with prospective residents via phone, mail, or email and convert phone traffic into scheduled appointments.
Inspect apartments prior to resident move‑ins, coordinate move‑in/out schedules with maintenance, and ensure apartments are in move‑in condition.
Maintain confidential resident files, complete weekly leasing reports, and oversee open/close procedures daily.
Assist with resident relations, property inspection, work‑order requests, clerical support, and resident activity planning.
Comply with all company policies, health and safety rules, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
High school diploma required.
Min. one year of previous sales experience preferred.
One year of previous residential leasing experience preferred.
Skills and Requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Yardi Voyager or an equivalent system preferred.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required.
Must pass Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity, and Inclusion Training within 30 days of employment.
