Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Learning and Performance Consultant in Enterprise Learning. The role is responsible for diagnosing business and learner needs and leading the creation and execution of high-performance learning journeys across the value stream. You will lead multiple complex learning and performance initiatives that deliver business outcomes in support of the firm strategy by accelerating talent development and adoption of new/improved behaviors. Establish trusted partnerships as a consultant to business leaders throughout the organization, translating business outcomes and strategy into performance outcomes and learning objectives. Informally lead matrixed, cross-functional teams on complex learning initiatives, facilitate learner-centered design, conduct learner research, prototype learning experiences, and ensure first-time quality at speed and scale. Apply learner experience research, adult learning principles, processes and technologies to advise on the creation and optimization of learning experiences that achieve enterprise outcomes. Partner with insights and analysis teams to design research projects, learning measurement plans, KPIs, feedback loops, and to monitor performance and predict future needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to curate resources for learning initiatives. Mentor and coach learning and performance consultants and designers to ensure quality outcomes and talent development. Strategically sequence initiatives within a value enablement function and synthesize them into continuous learning journeys that build capabilities and optimize performance. Develop business cases and cost estimates to present investment needs for learning initiatives. Stay current on Learning & Development research and practices, experimenting with new applications to optimize learning experiences and business outcomes. What You'll Need
Experience/Qualifications Master’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Education, Organizational Psychology, Human Capital Management, or related field; Doctorate preferred. 7+ years of experience in corporate learning, performance consultation, or similar role. Expert knowledge of Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, Assessment, Capability Mapping, and modern learning tools and methodologies. 3+ years leading strategic design of firmwide learning initiatives from ideation to delivery with measurable impact. 2+ years of experience in the following areas: – Leading others as a performance consultant to diagnose and solve complex human performance challenges; facilitation of Design Thinking sessions and user research; ability to build business cases and ROI analyses; navigating group dynamics; handling sensitive projects with discretion; delegating and informal cross-functional leadership; mentoring and coaching. Proficient understanding of the Financial Services industry and talent management, with specialization in at least one discipline. Brinkerhoff Architect Certification required within first 6 months. Candidates located near Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO may be expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tue–Thu. Internal/Hybrid Note : Current internal home-based associates: if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. The role is posted as hybrid, but future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work. Benefits
