We’re on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Events Manager to lead our Events Team at BGL! If you love creating exceptional experiences, mentoring a team, and delivering large-scale events that bring people together globally, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll take the lead on BGL’s major and national events, including our flagship BGL Masterclass and BGL REGTECH conferences, while guiding the Events Coordinator in delivering smaller-scale activations and webinars. You’re an experienced event professional who loves leading, organising, and delivering exceptional experiences from concept to completion. You’re confident managing teams, budgets, and stakeholders, and you know how to balance creativity with precision. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy collaborating across departments, and have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work. You’ll bring:

5+ years of experience managing large‑scale events, conferences, or corporate experiences. Strong leadership skills with experience coaching and mentoring team members. Excellent vendor and stakeholder management skills. Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities. Proven ability to plan strategically while staying detail‑focused on delivery. A degree in Event Management (or related field). Above all, you’re passionate about creating memorable experiences, building strong relationships, and inspiring those around you to deliver excellence. What you'll be doing

Leading the planning and delivery of all large and national events across Australia and globally. Managing the Events Team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Developing and executing event strategies in collaboration with the General Manager – Customer Experience (APAC). Managing budgets, workflows, templates, and reporting to ensure consistent, high‑quality event execution. Overseeing event logistics, including venues, vendors, merchandise, and post‑event evaluations. Collaborating with Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, and Client Experience teams to deliver engaging and on‑brand events. Continuously identifying opportunities to improve event delivery, systems, and attendee experiences. Acting as the key point of contact for large‑scale events such as BGL Masterclass, BGL REGTECH, and other major activations. Culture & Benefits
