As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be the connective tissue between our internal teams and external supply base, ensuring every purchased component meets stringent requirements from first article through full-rate production. A typical week may include

Planning and executing supplier audits, assessments, and qualification activities to onboard new providers. Tracking supplier KPIs, hosting performance reviews, and issuing/closing corrective actions to elevate results. Leading root cause analysis using 8D and 5 Whys; driving CAPA to contain, correct, and prevent recurrence of nonconformances. Defining incoming inspection plans, sampling strategies, and acceptance criteria for purchased materials and components. Partnering on new product development to embed quality during design transfer and ramp; coordinating FAI, PPAP, and process capability studies where applicable. Working cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve supplier‑related issues quickly and sustainably. Maintaining supplier quality records and ensuring alignment with industry and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485; familiarity with FDA QSR. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent technical background). ASQ certification: CQE or CQA. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt. Fluency with quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, and 5 Whys. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T. Analytical problem-solver with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with ERP and QMS platforms. Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% to supplier sites. At least 2 years working within an ISO-certified environment (ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485). Equal Opportunity Employer
