CNC OPERATOR / PROGRAMMER – Cabinetry & Architectural Millwork
Location:
Gardena, CA Pay:
$25–$50/hr (Highly dependent on experience) Shift:
1st Shift – Monday–Friday (8 hrs) or Monday–Thursday (10 hrs) Flexible start times available
About the Role: We are a high-end custom cabinetry and architectural millwork company seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join our growing team in Gardena. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on premium custom projects in a collaborative and detail-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
CNC Operation & Programming
Collaborate with Project Management and the Production Team to execute jobs accurately and efficiently
Review project drawings and verify dimensions before running programs
Follow company drafting templates and standards
Program and operate CNC machinery
(Rover A 5-Axis)
using AutoCAD, B-Solid, and/or other CAM software
Set up machines for various tasks (Nesting, Pods, 5-Axis operations)
Write and edit CNC programs independently
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot machines and tooling
Communicate effectively with the office and facilitate tech services when needed
Shop & Office Collaboration
Participate in weekly production and scheduling meetings
Collaborate closely with both shop and office staff
Write and respond to emails promptly and professionally
Assist with IT support for CNC and CAM software systems
Develop and manage samples, templates, and prototypes
Qualifications:
3+ years
experience in cabinetmaking and drafting
3+ years
experience operating and programming CNC machinery
Proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings and architectural plans
Skilled in AutoCAD and/or similar software (iX woodCAD|CAM, EnRoute, Biesse Works, B-Solid)
Strong English communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven
Passionate about craftsmanship and woodworking
