ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Jobs – Dallas, TX

Estimated weekly pay: $1,470 - $1,570. Assignment Details
Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
Location: Dallas, TX 75230 (Texas nursing jobs)
Unit: Neuro-Vascular Intensive Care Unit (NVICU), Building E, Floor 7EE
Number of Beds: 16-bed ICU
Staffing: 1 charge RN and 8 ICU RNs per shift
Patient Ratio: 2:1
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (September 9, 2025 – December 9, 2025)
Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
Floating: May float to all ICUs, Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floors
Weekend Requirement: Minimum 4 weekends per schedule period
Qualifications
Active RN license (Texas or compact state)
Current ACLS certification
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Oncology or Neuro ICU experience is a plus
Strong teamwork, accountability, and compassionate patient care skills
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed ICU setting
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Meditech EMR
Assist with procedures including central line placement, arterial line placement, and intubation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Float to other critical care units (ICU, BMT, PCU) as needed
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
