The Solution Architect designs and oversees the implementation of technical solutions to meet business needs, acting as a bridge between business requirements and technology capabilities. Responsibilities include analyzing business problems, designing technical blueprints, selecting technology stacks, ensuring scalability and security, and communicating with stakeholders to deliver solutions. Key skills for this role are strong analytical and communication abilities, a deep understanding of enterprise architecture and cloud platforms, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.

This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Future Duties and Responsibilities

Analyze Business Needs: Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to understand business goals, identify inefficiencies, and define technical requirements.

Design Technical Solutions: Create high‑level architectural blueprints, define the project’s technology stack, and design for scalability, availability, and security.

Develop Roadmaps: Provide recommendations and create technology roadmaps to guide the implementation of the proposed solution.

Ensure Technical Quality: Oversee the integration and implementation of solutions, ensuring they align with the organization’s strategic vision and meet project quality and timeliness standards.

Manage Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate the technical strategy, progress, and risks to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge.

Lead Technical Teams: Guide development teams and collaborate with other architects, project managers, and business analysts to deliver the solution.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years of experience.

Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired.

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of enterprise and software architecture, microservices, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and systems integration.

Analytical Skills: Ability to connect business demands with viable technology solutions and make data‑driven decisions.

Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills for advising stakeholders and leading cross‑functional teams.

Problem‑Solving: A mindset focused on addressing complex technical challenges and finding the best solutions for organizational efficiency.

Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes, financial management, and risk analysis to ensure solutions align with business goals.

Compensation is estimated to range from $89,600.00 to $218,200.00 for this role in the U.S.
