KKR is seeking a senior accountant to join its KKR Credit division in Boston. The opportunity is to work on KKR Credit's funds. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success and advancement in prior roles, problem solving skills, and is someone who has a great appetite for knowledge and professional growth.

Responsibilities

Scope of funds includes SEC registered investment companies and Australian investment trusts.

Manage relationships with fund administrators.

Perform daily reconciliations of administrator NAV against shadow books.

Involvement with operational duties including capital calls, distributions, and wiring of funds.

Active role in preparation & review of financial statements and liaising with auditors.

Calculate performance returns, management fees and performance fees, ensure timely payment of expenses and review quarterly budgets.

Prepare income and dividend forecast models, board presentation materials, and SEC filings.

Assist with ad‑hoc requests, investor questions, and frequent interaction with our marketing / client management and legal & compliance departments.

Frequent project coordination work.

Assist in driving accounting, reporting and business process simplification and efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

Professional with at least 2-3 years of public accounting or industry experience. Preferably with exposure to financial instruments, investment funds, and SEC reporting.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within and outside the organization.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a growing environment.

Proven ability to manage multiple demands and projects in a high‑growth work environment, including ability to prioritize time efficiently and manage multiple work streams while remaining attentive to detail.

Highly developed planning and organizational skills.

Self‑starter that is organized and demonstrates the ability to multi‑task.

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston‑based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.

Base Salary Range $80,000 - $115,000 USD
