Executive Legal Recruiter | LHH | CA Licensed Attorney Our client, a boutique firm based in Southern California, is hiring a Patent Agent with 2+ years of experience in their Pasadena office. In this role, you will work on cutting‑edge IP matters for a diverse and fast‑paced client base, primarily composed of venture‑backed startup companies in highly technical fields.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $90K-$120K+ (DOE)
Bonus: Eligibility and amount are based on company and/or individual performance
Full‑time benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) plan
Direct client exposure and meaningful responsibility from day one

Responsibilities
Draft, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications
Respond to USPTO office actions and conduct examiner interviews
Collaborate with clients, inventors, and outside counsel
Analyze invention disclosures and conduct prior art searches
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in patent prosecution
USPTO registration
A strong technical background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
