SEC Audit Manager
Job Summary
As an
Audit Manager
on our close-knit audit team, your work will involve:
Serving a variety of publicly traded commercial clients across manufacturing and distribution industries, reporting to senior managers and partners. You will also serve privately-held clients. Managing client relationships to build positive rapport. Managing multiple teams and providing performance feedback at the end of engagements. Addressing client concerns proactively and resolving issues as they arise. Promoting innovative ideas and business solutions to extend services to existing clients, encouraging creativity and expertise. Continuously updating your knowledge of industry developments, firm standards, and policies. Monitoring industry trends and assessing their impact on clients' competitive positions.
Qualifications
5 to 7 years of recent external audit experience in public accounting. Experience with SEC reporting, PCAOB audits, 10-K and 10-Q procedures, and 404 internal control testing. Strong organizational, communication, technical, time management, and accounting skills to work effectively with clients and teams. Professional interaction with clients, prospects, staff, and colleagues. Ability to multitask and manage multiple engagements simultaneously. Experience supervising and instructing engagement team members. CPA license in California or eligibility to obtain one. Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed. This role offers full-time or seasonal work options.
