Job Summary & Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the ED, including triage, rapid assessment, and treatment.

Collaborate with physicians, ED techs, and social workers to manage patient flow, outcomes, and documentation.

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, results, and ongoing care within scope of practice.

Maintain professional accountability, meet mandatory deadlines, and pursue opportunities for growth.

Job Requirements

Accredited nursing school graduate; BSN preferred.

Minimum 6 months prior RN experience.

Preferred 2 years of recent emergency or critical‑care experience.

Current Washington State RN license.

ACLS certification within 60 days of hire and thereafter.

BLS certification required; quarterly AHA Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency required.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) completion within 12 months of hire.

Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 12 months of hire.

EMERGENCY NURSE PEDIATRIC CERTIFICATION (ENPC) or PALS within 12 months of hire.

Preferred Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and/or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.

Pay Range:

$42.43 - $71.67 /hour
