Job Summary The Brain Care Labs, affiliated with the Global Brain Care Coalition, Center for Genomic Medicine and Neurology at Mass General Brigham, is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic candidate to join their team. Working in a rich multi-disciplinary environment involving clinicians, computational biologists, statisticians, and geneticists at MGH, BWH, the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, and internationally through the International Stroke Genetics Consortium (ISGC), the Clinical Research Coordinator will work independently on ongoing research studies under the direction of the Clinical Research Project Manager. Responsibilities include project management of lab projects, collaboration within and outside the lab, organizing receipt of DNA samples and phenotypic data, patient recruitment and biospecimen collection, research follow-up visits, data entry and analysis preparation, regulatory binder and QA/QC procedures, lab database maintenance, lab stock upkeep, and participation and presentation at lab meetings. Preference is given to candidates who can speak fluent Spanish and perform patient consent and study visits in Spanish. Does this position require Patient Care? No.

Essential Functions

Reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; verifies all sponsor requirements are met.

Recruiting patients for clinical trials, conducts phone screens.

Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol.

Prepares data for analysis and enters data.

Documents patient visits and procedures.

Assists with regulatory binder and QA/QC procedures.

Assists with interviewing study subjects.

Assists with study regulatory submissions.

Qualifications Education

Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.

Experience

Some relevant research project work 0-1 year preferred. Role can accept experience in lieu of a degree: Yes.
