An elementary school in Oak Park, IL is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services from early childhood through 5th grade. This contract position covers a leave vacancy, running from ASAP through the end of the school year, with working hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities
Conduct play-based assessments for early childhood students and eligibility assessments for grades K-5. Work closely with educators, families, and administrators to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students. Interpret evaluation results and provide recommendations to assist in individualized education plans and interventions. Desired Qualifications
Valid school psychologist certification/licensure appropriate for Illinois. Experience conducting assessments, particularly play-based assessments for early childhood and eligibility evaluations for elementary students. Strong understanding of developmental and educational psychology. Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families. Skilled in report writing and communicating assessment results in a clear and empathetic manner. Location
