In this role you should be able to craft seamless web and application experiences and products. We are seeking UX designers with strong creative, technical, and problem-solving skills who have proven experience with SaaS solutions. Finally, were looking for a designer with empathy someone who cares about listening to others, understanding the human experience, and creating solutions that matter. As a Principal UX Designer here, you'll serve as a thought leader in the ideation, prioritization and delivery of user-centered designs. The Principal UX Designer collaborates with product managers, developers, and clients to create, and implement software solutions our customers will love. This position will also be responsible for building a full UX function and team, including multiple UX design positions and external partnerships. Essential Functions User Experience Lead the discovery, research, and data analysis to provide insights into user behavior Produce evaluations regarding the usability of products and digital properties Lead participatory and iterative design activities, including customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements Client. Work with the Product Team to bring user research to life through personas, journey maps, story boards, scenarios, flowcharts, and design specifications. Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale and goals both verbally and visually. Contribute to user story definition by shaping web and mobile products and applications Produce wireframes, clickable prototypes, sitemaps, user flows and other architecture and interaction design deliverables Help facilitate usability testing and synthesize output to drive iteration and evolution of solutions Review UI to ensure proper implementation and work with engineering teams to hone experience and polish
Visual Design
Foster an open, collaborative, inclusive and diverse design culture that promotes design excellence. Use design methods to identify new opportunities for value creation Use your skills in color, typography, layout, and brand to create beautiful user interfaces Create and maintain pattern libraries to guide developers in their work Serve as subject matter expert for the Product team to ensure design integrity Plan and facilitate collaborative discovery and review sessions and work through feedback, with product teams, internal stakeholders, and clients
Requirements
7+ years of experience in interaction design, information architecture or visual design 2+ years of experience with B2B SaaS UX Effective at leading and working with cross-functional and matrixed teams Ability to lead, hire, and manage UX designers and develop relationships with 3rdparty partners Strong interest in and passion for learning new technologies and design skills Understanding of grid systems,responsiveweb and mobile app design Work in the latest design tools, such as Sketch, InVision, Axure, and/or Adobe Creative Suite Working knowledge of HTML/CSS A portfolio demonstrating your visual acumen, attention to detail, and passion for this amazing field
