About the Role Our client, an industry leader in the direct marketing/mail space is seeking a dynamic
Vice President of Data & Analytics
to co‑lead their Marketing Services Agency team and build a world‑class analytics function. This role will drive data strategy, analytics innovation, and marketing technology integration to power data‑driven decision‑making and client acquisition. This unique role will support 50% sales team in developing go‑to‑market strategy and "sales pitches" and 50% lead the data team, (data scientists and analysts to insure the use of the right tools, services, products to design custom solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with agency and client goals.
Build, lead, and mentor a team of data professionals to deliver impactful insights and analytics solutions.
Apply advanced analytics (predictive modeling, segmentation, CLV analysis) to optimize marketing performance.
Oversee reporting frameworks and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to track KPIs and campaign success.
Partner with IT and account teams to implement marketing technology platforms for data management and automation.
Champion a data‑driven culture, providing thought leadership internally and externally.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or Marketing.
15+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally within direct marketing.
Proven success leading analytics teams and implementing marketing technology solutions.
Expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills with a strong business focus.
