Nomagic is launching in North America to bring AI-powered robotic solutions to warehouses and fulfilment centres. We’re looking for

an Engineering Director

who thrives in a startup environment. Someone who’s just as comfortable building processes and managing cross‑functional teams as they are rolling up their sleeves on the warehouse floor.

This role combines customer delivery, leadership, operational execution, and technical expertise in robotics and automation. You’ll bridge our EU product, engineering, and customer service teams with our U.S. customers, own project management and support, and develop the manufacturing and supply chain partnerships we need to scale. If you want to build something from the ground up and directly shape how we deliver robotics to the U.S. market, this is your chance.

Offer Essentials:

Work with robots every day!

Shape how Nomagic launches and scales in the U.S.

Competitive salary, equity and benefits.

A chance to define processes, lead teams, and still stay close to the tech..

Be part of a company transforming logistics with cutting‑edge robotics and AI.

Remote work possible

Why We Love This Job

We build robots powered by AI.

We have them in production at scale and see their real impact on critical operations.

We are still pretty small, so everyone has a direct impact on the product and how we work.

Our team has built Google Warsaw, unicorn startups (Climate Corp), tested rocket engines and worked at top companies such as Nvidia or ByteDance. Now we shape the future of smart robotics together!

Work in a startup culture backed by a talented global team.

Key Problems You May Try to Solve

Lead customer projects end‑to‑end: plan, install, and support deployments while keeping customers happy.

Be the technical face of Nomagic in the U.S.: translate customer needs into engineering actions and bring field feedback back to the global product team.

Build the foundation: establish U.S. processes for engineering, customer service, and project delivery.

Manage partners: work with vendors, contractors, and manufacturers to ensure quality and keep timelines/budgets on track.

Document and scale: create clear documentation, playbooks, and repeatable processes to help us grow fast.

Get hands‑on: jump in with the team on solutions development, installations, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

8+ years of experience in robotics, automation, or industrial tech.

A builder’s mindset: excited to create processes, teams, and systems from scratch.

Proven track record of running customer‑facing delivery projects with multiple stakeholders.

Background in engineering (mechanical, electrical, software, or controls) to roll up your sleeves and work alongside engineers.

Excellent project management skills and familiarity with Agile/Lean methods.

Strong communicator and relationship‑builder across customers, partners, and global teams.

Comfortable in a fast‑moving, startup environment where priorities shift and speed matters.

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or related field.
