Senior Instructional Designer
– Jordan’s Furniture, East Taunton, MA Hybrid schedule: 2 days in person at our East Taunton, MA Corporate Offices and 3 days working from home.
Jordan’s Furniture is seeking a skilled Senior Instructional Designer to create engaging learning experiences across online and instructor‑led courses. You will craft clear learning objectives, develop multimedia content, and produce compelling presentations that resonate throughout the organization.

What We Trust You To Do
Conduct needs assessments with stakeholders to define learning needs and evaluation methods.
Lead design, development, and implementation of learning programs in multiple modalities (in‑person, virtual, eLearning, and blended).
Manage multiple projects, maintain plans, and provide regular status updates.
Use tools such as Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, and Vyond to create engaging, interactive content.
Stay current on instructional design best practices and industry trends.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders across all levels.
Responsibilities
Develop learning objectives, scripts, and assessment strategies for new training initiatives.
Create engaging multimedia assets, including video/audio recordings and interactive modules.
Maintain high standards of content quality and consistency across all learning materials.
Provide guidance on instructional strategies and technology solutions to support learning goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or certification in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
5+ years of experience developing in-person and online instructional content.
Proficient in instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Levels).
Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Expertise with Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, micro‑learning tools, and Vyond.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
