The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s organic social media presence across corporate-owned channels.

This role focuses on strategic engagement, rental revenue influence through bookings, brand storytelling, and resort/offering promotion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

Content Strategy & Execution – Develop, schedule, and publish organic social media content across channels.

Ensure content aligns with strategic goals, including engagement optimization, brand awareness, and rental booking influence.

Content Creation & Gathering – Actively create and edit social content (photo, video, copywriting) and coordinate with resort-based contributors and interns to secure on‑brand, engaging material.

Travel occasionally to resorts and properties for strategic content capture.

Channel Management & Optimization – Monitor performance analytics, identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion impact, and implement optimization strategies.

Localization & Resort Content Program – Facilitate the resort localization strategy, supporting property-level social presence while maintaining consistency with corporate brand and strategy.

Influencer & Partnership Support – Coordinate influencer stays, capture content deliverables, and contribute to the development of strategic influencer initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting – Track KPIs, prepare reports, and provide strategic insights on content performance, engagement, and rental booking impact to inform future strategy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.

3‑5 years of social media experience, with a strong focus on organic channel management, content creation, and strategy.

Experience with Sprout Social or similar platforms (preferred).

Experience with Workfront (preferred).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Passion for social media, with strong knowledge of platforms, trends, and KPIs.

Proven ability to drive business KPIs through organic engagement with a strategic mindset; hospitality industry experience preferred.

Skilled in hands‑on content creation, including photography, videography, copywriting, and editing.

Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.

Analytical mindset with experience turning performance data into strategic insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to collaborate across teams and functions, balancing creativity with business strategy.

High attention to detail and ability to move work forward quickly in a fast‑paced environment.

Flexibility to travel up to 15% (domestic and potential international).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to perform on‑site content capture at resorts and other properties.
