Youth Development Site Coordinator - Pleasants Lane Elementary (Petersburg)
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is looking for a
Youth Development Site Coordinator
to serve as a positive role model and who will plan programming, oversee center management and supervise youth at our off‑site before and after school child care program at Pleasants Lane Elementary School in Petersburg, VA.

Duties
Develop and implement engaging youth development programs.
Supervise all groups of school‑age children.
Manage day‑to‑day operations of the school‑age child care center during the school year.
Full‑year seasonal responsibilities include high‑quality day camp programming: planning, parent communication, staff supervision and development.
Qualifications
Experience supervising staff, budgeting and program administration.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Candidates must meet Virginia DOE licensing requirements: college‑level coursework in a related field or CDA required.
Minimum age 21.
Responsible, enthusiastic, and able to direct children and staff positively.
Experience leading Youth Development and Summer Day Camps.
Starting salary is $43,000 plus generous benefits and a free Y family membership.
