REMOTE Opportunity OR HYBRID Opportunity in Northeast, OH or DFW, TX
This role supports the strategic planning and creation of a customer-first social media and cross-channel editorial strategy. The Content & Social Media Director partners with our brand marketing, PR, social media, website, email and digital marketing teams to develop compelling social media campaigns and cohesive plans that communicate our brand, elevate our purpose and connect Jared to cultural events and milestones that are timely, meaningful and relevant to our customers.
Responsibilities
Establish strategy for how Jared leverages social media & its various platforms to engage audiences and drive brand awareness, affinity and purchase intent
Manage internal social media team, social media agency and budget
Develop, implement and maintain Social Media policies and procedures
Assess and manage reporting tools and dashboards
Test hypotheses, identify opportunities and develop clear business and measurement objectives
Generate ideas for new and innovative social media initiatives and manage the development and roll out of new initiatives
Research, consult and educate various internal audiences on social media initiatives and address social media issues
Analyze trends and innovation in social media ROI models, measurement and tools
Identify emerging trends/best practices in social media and provide proactive recommendations
Determine the right mix of resources required to implement and run a campaign
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field
6+ years social media and content marketing experience
Advanced knowledge of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat)
Exceptional ability to develop clear, concise and eye‑catching presentations for a range of audiences and needs
Experience planning digital‑first messages and creative across multiple platforms, ad types and objectives, from awareness to conversion
Understanding of content consumption, social media and purchasing behavior
Ability to handle multiple projects and complete tasks quickly and effectively
Willingness to manage content opportunities and issues if they occur outside of traditional business hours
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
Ability to identify emerging issues, quickly assess risk and escalate

The salary range for this opportunity is $96,000 - $160,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
