Respond to and resolve public safety communications problems for State Agency clients. Functionally report to the assigned shop lead as required; follow FCC rules and regulations. Utilize office-provided training, complex test equipment, computers, hand tools, the Telecommunications Division Manual (TDM), and technical literature. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally; interface with customers and co-workers to resolve issues and collaborate. Maintain a professional, team-centered environment and foster effective working relationships. Work proficiently with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel). Travel to and work in remote locations, at high elevations, and in inclement weather may be required. Working Conditions

In Office:

This position supports the day-to-day business operations for Cal OES in an office location. This is not considered a hybrid telework position. DMV PULL Program:

Participation in the DMV Pull Program is required. A valid California Driver’s License (CDL) is required. You must answer CDL questions on your application and provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements/restrictions. Department Information
