Warehouse Material Handler Immediately Hiring

Ryder is immediately hiring a full‑time Warehouse Material Handler in Fairburn, Georgia.

Position Description

Warehouse positions pay weekly: $19.50 per hour plus a $1.50 per hour shift premium.

We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply‑chain environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

Products being handled: Paper Products, Everyday Essentials. Equipment: Primarily sit‑down and stand‑up forklifts with clamp attachments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment.
• Strong professional relationship building at all levels.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
• High initiative and drive.
• High level of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to use health and safety methods.
• Must be available for a flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
