Location Need candidates currently located in or near Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Salesforce applications and custom solutions using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flows.

Customize and extend Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce modules.

Develop and maintain triggers, classes, controllers, batch jobs, and integration logic.

Implement and manage API integrations between Salesforce and external systems (REST/SOAP).

Translate business requirements into technical design documents and ensure adherence to standards.

Perform code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize existing code.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across Salesforce environments.

Work with DevOps tools for CI/CD, version control (Git/Bitbucket), and deployment pipelines.

Support testing efforts (unit testing, SIT, UAT) and ensure defect‑free delivery.

Mentor junior developers and guide them in adhering to Salesforce best practices.

Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and ecosystem tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

8–12 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in Salesforce development.

Strong hands‑on expertise in Apex (classes, triggers, async processing), LWC, Visualforce, and Screen Flows.

Excellent understanding of Salesforce Object Model, SOQL, and SOSL.

Solid experience with Salesforce configuration, automation tools, and custom metadata.

Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, and Salesforce Platform Events for integrations.

Strong understanding of Lightning Experience and UI customization.

Experience working with Salesforce DevOps tools like VS Code, Copado, Gearset, or Bitbucket Pipelines.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools like JIRA.

Familiarity with front‑end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II preferred.
