Hilton Grand Vacations is offering a Day One opportunity as an Assistant General Manager at Ocean 22, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement initiatives for resort operations within the designated site.

Set clear goals and ensure policies and guidance define responsibilities, processes, and decision‑making powers.

Maintain compliance with organizational, business, and financial regulations.

Hold accountable and manage department heads, overseeing schedules, work assignments, and leadership of team members across disciplines.

Attend all managerial meetings and gatherings directed by Hilton Grand Vacations.

Oversee HR management practices completed by direct reports, including recruitment, performance management, and corrective action in partnership with the HR Business Partner.

Maintain firm understanding of the collective bargaining agreement applicable to assigned locations.

Identify and coordinate development plans for team members to ensure continued growth and success.

Monitor all systems and processes that directly impact guest experience, ensuring an outstanding owner/guest experience while maintaining all brand standards.

Meet with owners/guests to resolve service opportunities to their satisfaction.

Monitor and maintain strong SALT scores and QA inspections, develop annual business strategies and performance benchmarks.

Develop and oversee HOA and operations budgets for the designated sites.

Provide proper allocations and forecasting data to achieve financial sustainability and report results in collaboration with the Senior Manager‑Business Management.

Assist in the development of the resort’s long‑term reserve plan and coordinate approved reserve projects with the Area Managing Senior Director, Resort Operations – South Carolina.

Maintain relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface issues with business supporters and suppliers to ensure business needs and financial responsibilities are handled promptly.

Develop and nurture a positive relationship with sales, marketing, and rental business partners.

Serve as a key leadership role at the assigned location.

Qualifications

BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree.

Previous experience as a Resort Director, General Manager, Hotel Manager, Resident Manager, or Director of Rooms; or 5+ years as a department head with experience in multiple disciplines leading leaders in a 300‑room hotel/resort.

4+ years of management experience.

Desired Competencies

Proven track record working with ownership/asset management.

Knowledge of guest satisfaction systems such as SALT, WEST, MEDALLIA.

Knowledge of IA and QA systems and metrics preferred.

Vacation ownership management experience preferred.

Strong communication and leadership skills.
