Overview As the Director of Programmatic Sales, you'll help to provide integrated, CTV-first digital advertising solutions. You will lead the generation of programmatic media volume and revenue across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programmatic media, including CTV, mobile advertising, and other digital channels, and a proven track record of driving substantial revenue growth through partnerships with agencies, direct advertisers, and other media buyers. This role will leverage the company’s programmatic capabilities, including the company Exchange, the company DSP, and any DSPs connected to the company exchange, to maximize media volume and revenue.
You Will
Revenue Generation: Lead the effort to drive significant programmatic media revenue across multiple sources, including direct relationships with agencies, advertisers, and third-party partners.
Programmatic Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue through the company Exchange, company DSP, and third-party DSPs, ensuring growth in both volume and quality of media campaigns.
Partnership Development: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in agencies, direct advertisers, and other partners to establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Plan and pipeline: Build a plan of action for attacking holding companies as well as independent agencies, prioritizing opportunities, effectively managing the sales pipeline, and following up with leads in a timely fashion.
Inventory and Media Execution: Leverage PMP inventory and media execution through company teams or third-party buyers to create high-impact, revenue-generating opportunities.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, product, account management, and technology to ensure successful execution and optimization of media campaigns.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to keep the company at the forefront of programmatic advertising.
Client Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the client within the organization, ensuring their needs are met while aligning solutions with their business goals.
Sales and Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on sales and revenue performance, ensuring quarterly targets are met and exceeded.
Strategic Thinking: Evaluate significant business decisions with leadership, review potential solutions, and choose the best course of action.

You Have
Experience: 5-6 years in digital sales, with at least 3+ years in programmatic and/or CTV advertising.
Programmatic Expertise: Deep knowledge of programmatic media, including DSPs, exchanges, PMP inventory, and ad tech.
Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, advertisers, and other stakeholders.
Sales Skills: A hunter mentality with drive to generate new business and meet targets.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
Communication: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
Results-Driven: Focus on impact and results with a collaborative mindset.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in advertising, Marketing, Business, or related field.
