Job Summary The Kiosk Team Member is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service to casino guests utilizing self-service kiosks and related services. This role ensures kiosks are fully operational, assists guests with transactions and promotions, and maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist guests using kiosks for promotions, ticket redemptions, rewards, and other casino services.

Provide clear instructions and support for guests unfamiliar with kiosk functions.

Monitor kiosks to ensure machines are functioning properly, report malfunctions or technical issues promptly.

Fill and change kiosks with new cassettes.

Troubleshoot minor kiosk issues such as paper jams, printer errors, or touchscreen problems.

Maintain kiosk area cleanliness, organization, and signage.

Assist with promotional programs, giveaways, and special events connected to kiosk usage.

Handle guest inquiries regarding rewards, points, and promotions with professionalism and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and casino policies.

Escalate customer complaints or concerns to supervisors as necessary.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, required.

Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred; casino experience a plus.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Catawba Gaming License as required by tribal and state authorities.

Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to learn and explain kiosk functions quickly.

Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using the English language.

Ability to work an alternate schedule as needed, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Ability to work in a loud fast-paced environment (may occasionally be exposed to secondhand cigarette smoke).

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; bend to open/use lower drawers or cabinetry; to talk, hear, and see. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
