A top flight offshore law firm in the Cayman Islands is seeking to appoint an Associate to its highly regarded Dispute Resolution team. This role provides the opportunity to act on high-value, complex disputes and arbitration matters across multiple jurisdictions while working alongside some of the leading practitioners in the market.
Applicants should be academically excellent, admitted in a recognised common law jurisdiction and able demonstrate solid experience in commercial disputes, whether gained onshore or offshore with a leading law firm or commercial chambers. Strong drafting skills, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to manage cases efficiently are all essential, as is a collaborative and client-focused approach.
Key responsibilities
Acting on major commercial litigation and international arbitration matters.
Drafting pleadings, submissions and managing procedural steps.
Coordinating discovery and evidence preparation.
Supporting senior lawyers in the development and execution of case strategy.
Building client relationships and contributing to the wider success of the practice.
